US$300 Table Lamp , Cast Metal Lamp , Character Lamp in Chilliwack, British Columbia for sale

Top Hat .: Figural Lamp , Coat and Tails . Original/Reproduction: Original Tailcoat & Top Hats .... Here is a very different or should I say very unusual piece of unknown origin ... Possibly American , possibly British ? Any interpretations are welcome . Some of my photos are with my cameras flash and some without . This Table Lamp is of a cast metal ( unknown to me ) mounted on a polished stone base ... possibly marble ... i believe the stone base to be Jasper . The base is cold to the touch and has a nice ring to it when tapped . This lamp is very heavy ( almost 20lbs ) and stands 28'' tall . In very terrific condition ... no damage that I can see . 1 pull switch does not work out of the 3 pull switches . In my opinion this lamp me be about 1930s vintage . The characters ( Monkeys ? Gorillas ? They have tails like Monkeys ) are sitting in a tree , 1 on a swing ( the swing works when given a little push ) playing the fiddle . The other above sitting on the tree lifting his Top Hat in acknowledgment of a passerby or maybe the music ? Notice the Acorn final on top . The shade is not the original to this lamp ... i would prefer not to ship this shade . The new owner should be able to find a nice shade is their area . I can find no identifying markings anywhere on this lamp . They appear to me ... monkeys wearing coat and tails ( Tail Coats ) and Top Hats .
